Sushanth Anumolu, hailing from the illustrious Akkineni family as the grandson of legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao and nephew to the prominent Nagarjuna Akkineni, embarked on his film journey with high expectations. However, the road to success was far from smooth for him. The initial phase of his career saw setbacks with his debut film “Kalidasu,” which failed to meet expectations. Despite a modest performance in his second film “Current,” Sushanth faced a string of disappointments until the turning point in 2018 with the success of “Chi La Sow.”
Following the success of “Chi La Sow,” Sushanth made a strategic decision to diversify his roles. He took on a pivotal role in Allu Arjun’s blockbuster “Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.” While the film achieved immense success, Sushanth found himself in a challenging position as his character lacked depth, providing limited opportunities to showcase his acting prowess.
Undeterred, Sushanth ventured into solo projects, headlining films like “Ichata Vahanamulu Nilaparadu” and playing the lead in the web series “Maa Nella Tank.” Unfortunately, both endeavors failed to resonate with the audience. Additionally, his supporting roles in major films like Chiranjeevi’s “Bhola Shankar” and Ravi Teja’s “Ravanasura” did not fare well at the box office, leaving his efforts unnoticed.
As the actor maintains a low profile, the industry awaits Sushanth’s next move with curiosity. Despite the challenges he has faced, there is anticipation for a potential comeback, and it will be intriguing to witness the direction he takes in shaping his cinematic journey.
