Tamil actors Jiiva and Priya Bhavani Shankar have teamed up for an upcoming film titled Black. Recently, the makers of the film released the film’s first look and title poster, and it is being said that the film will be released in theaters for this Dussehra. Now if this news is true, then Jiiva will have a clash with none other than Superstar Rajinikanth at the theaters.
Kollywood’s inside circles are buzzing that the makers of Black are planning to release the film in October. It is already known to everyone that Superstar Rajinikanth’s 170th film Vettaiyan is announced to be released on October 10th. As said above, the inside reports suggest that Jiiva’s Black will also be released on the same day. Interestingly, Suriya’s Kanguva was also scheduled to be released on October 10, 2024, but the team postponed the film as they did not want to clash with a big star like Rajinikanth. So Rajini fans are confident that even if one small film releases on the same day as their favorite hero’s film, it won’t be a problem for Vettaiyan.
Black stars Jiiva and Priya Bhavani Shankar as the leads, and it is their first film together on screen. Balasuramani KG is the film’s director, and Potential Sutiods production banner is backing it. The production house is known for making films like Maya, Maanagaram, Monster, Taanakkaran, and Irugapatru. Sam CS is composing the film’s music for this thriller.
