Former minister and the YSR Congress leader, Ravela Kishore Babu on Saturday said that the opposition TDP is scared of defeat in the just concluded general election to the state Assembly. He said that the YSR Congress is going to form the government in the state for the second time after the counting of votes is over on June 4.
Speaking to media persons at the party headquarters in Tadepalli, Kishore Babu asserted that people are with the YSR Congress. He said that people across the state wanted the YSR Congress to come back to power. The huge turnout of the people at the polling stations on May 13 was an indication of the urge among the people towards the YSR Congress, he said.
He said that God and the people are with the YSR Congress. They have been receiving benefits from the government for the past five years, he said. The government had taken the administration to the doorstep of the people in the last five years, he said. People have realised that Jagan Mohan Reddy is the best chief minister in the state and have voted for him this time.
No force on the earth would be able to stop Jagan Mohan Reddy from forming the government for the second time, Kishore Babu asserted. He wanted the opposition TDP to realise and accept its defeat. He also wanted the TDP to accept the people’s decision to vote for the YSR Congress this time.
The former minister said that the TDP had tried to influence the election commission. He wondered why the Election Commission in Andhra Pradesh had brought a new rule, which is not there in any other state on the postal ballot. He said that the conspiracies of the TDP would not help the party win the elections.
