Bollywood industry circles and fans were excited when they learned that Farhan Akthar is making Don 3 with Ranveer Singh. Though the fans of Shah Rukh Khan were disappointed with the fact that their idol is missing from their most loved franchise, they were keen to see how Farhan will make the film with Ranveer. Starring Kiara Advani as the female lead, Don 3’s shoot was reported to start in August this year, but Farhan stated that it will start in January 2025 in a media interaction. However, the latest reports suggest that the action thriller’s shoot will start much later in 2025.
Reportedly, Don 3 will start the shoot in May 2025, and the main reason for the delay in the filming is Farhan taking another film in between. Farhan recently announced a new film called Bahadur 120, in which he plays the character of Major Shaitan Singh PVC. So, since the shoot of Bahadur 120 will take a few months from Farhan’s schedule, the shoot of Don 3 has been pushed, and it will begin only next May.
In an old interview, Farhan stated that the script of Don 3 does not fit Shah Rukh Khan and it needs a third-generation actor like Ranveer Singh. Farhan, as an actor, worked together in Zoya Akthar’s Dil Dhadakne Do. Bollywood has a special craze for franchise films, and Don 3 will certainly have much craze, and everyone is waiting for updates from the film.
