Manvat Murders is a new crime thriller series set to arrive on Sony LIV. The makers of the series released the teaser ahead of its premiere, which received a good response from the viewers. The series is based on 1972’s Manvat Killings, and it is getting a lot of attention because of the main concept.
The streaming platform released a teaser in which we can see some murders happening. The netizens poured praises after watching the teaser, and they cannot wait to binge watch it. Manvat Murders will be available for streaming from October 4, 2024, on Sony LIV. Crime thrillers are a favorite genre of OTT viewers and makers as well, and we can expect another intriguing show in the genre with this series. Ashutosh Gowariker plays the role of Ramakant Kulkarni, a Mumbai base cop. His character tries to bring justice for the murderers. As said above, the web series is based on a shocking crime that took place in Maharashtra in the 1970’s.
Manvat Murders is created by Girsj Joshi and directed by Ashish Benda, while it is produced by Mahesh Kothare and Adinath Kothare. The story is taken from the autobiography of Ramakant Kulkarni, “Footprints on the Sands of Crime.” The series has a good ensemble cast that includes Ashutosh Gowariker, Makarand Anaspure, Sonali Kulkarni, and Sai Tamhankar in the lead roles.
