Mammootty – Mohanlal to re-unite again?

The fans of Malayalam cinema are in for great news. Mammootty and Mohanlal, who are the top two stars of Mollywood are re-uniting to appear together on screen. Until now, these heroes have shared the screen in over 55 films. While the fans of both these stars indulge in rivalry, they both are good friends off-screen. The latest reports suggest that Mohanlal and Mammootty will share the screen after a very long gap. The exciting thing is the reunion of these big heroes is not just for one, but two films.

So if the inside reports turn out to be true, Mollywood fans will see their biggest stars together in two films in 2025. Antony Perumbavoor, the producer and founder of Aashirvad Cinemas, is considered as a close friend of Mohanlal. Recently, Antony shared a couple of pictures with Mammootty and Mohanlal. The producer’s post sparked the reports of the stars’ reunion. Reportedly, Mammootty and Mohanlal will star in an upcoming action thriller, which will be jointly produced by Mammootty Kampany and Aashirvad Cinemas.

There are further stories that the heroes will be seen in Turbo, the new hit of Mammootty directed by Vysakh. A sequel for Turbo was already confirmed at the end of the film, which has Vijay Sethupathi’s special appearance with his voice. Director Vysakh said that he might collaborate with a big star for his future films in the latest interview.
