The horror comedy blockbuster Stree 2 completed six weeks at the box office. Even after all these days, the film still has a stronghold at the domestic box office. Trade analysts and industry circles are shocked by the film’s phenomenal run and consistency at the box office. Stree 2 was released in theaters on August 15, 2024, and even today, the film is getting decent numbers at the box office.
On September 25th, Stree 2 gathered 1.3 crore net in India, and the total net collection for 42 days will be over 608 crore, and the gross will be around 718 crore. This is nothing but a sensational run by any means, and Stree 2 has shown remarkable box office performance, which no one expected from it. The horror comedy will face good competition from NTR and Koratala Siva’s Pan-Indian action drama, Devara, which will be released in theaters this Friday.
The trade experts are excited to see how Stree 2 will perform this weekend or whether it will hint at the end of its theatrical run. Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande under Maddock Films and Jio Studios, Stree 2, the film has been directed by Amar Kaushik. Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor enthralled audiences with their amazing chemistry and entertaining performances, while Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee, and Pankaj Tripathi supported them with their valuable performances. Varun Dhawan, Akshay Kumar, and Tamannaah Bhatia appeared in cameos.
