Stree 2 is still minting numbers at the box office even after completing six weeks at the box office. The film is surprising everyone and busted the myth that a Hindi film runs only for three or four weeks. After having an exceptional run for six weeks in theaters, this horror comedy is still refusing to end its carnage at the box office and collecting decent numbers.
On its seventh Friday, the film collected over 1 crore net, and on its seventh Saturday, it collected 2 crore net, which took its total net collections for 45 days to 613 crore net at the domestic box office. Stree 2 faced a good competitor at the box office this weekend in the form of NTR’s Pan Indian action drama, Devara, which was released by one of the biggest producers of Bollywood, Karan Johar. However, the Rajkummar and Shraddha Kapoor starrer was still able to manage good footfalls.
As of now, Stree 2 is in the last leg of its theatrical run, and though it has an outside chance to enter the 650 Cr club, it would be a very difficult task for it to achieve it because the film will lose its theaters in the second weekend of October to Alia Bhatt’s Jigra and Rajkummar Rao, Tritpii Dimri’s Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Audio. However, Stree 2 can get good numbers on October 2nd, which falls on Wednesday.
