Stree 2 has seen a considerable drop in its collections for the first time in its seven weeks of theatrical run. The horror comedy has not collected less than 1 crore net till now, and it happened on its 47th day, September 30. The trade experts think that this is an indication of the film finally nearing the end of its mega-successful theatrical run.
On September 30, Stree 2 collected 85 lakh net in India, and the total net collection for 47 days will be nearly 617 crores. However, the film can gather a good number tomorrow with the advantage of the Gandhi Jayanthi Holiday. After that, the last productive day for the movie will be the next Sunday, October 6. We have to wait and see how much this horror comedy will mint till this weekend.
Written by Niren Bhatt, directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande, Stree 2 was released in theaters on August 15, 2024. Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor played the lead roles in the film. It also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshkakti Khurana in crucial roles.
