Government advisor and YSR Congress general secretary Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy on Tuesday said that the high court had granted interim bail to TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu in the skill development scam.
He said it was not a full bail and there was nothing for the TDP to celebrate.
Sajjala said that the court had also directed Chandrababu Naidu to surrender to the superintendent of the Rajamahendravaram Central Jail on or before November 28, 2023. He said that the court did not ask Naidu to approach the court once the bail period is over. This would mean that Naidu would have to go to jail, he added.
He said that the court granted the bail only on health grounds and Naidu would have to submit the health reports to the jail superintendent. He said Naidu would have to undergo cataract surgery at a hospital of his choice, before going back to the jail.
He said that the CID officials were searching for Naidu’s personal secretary Pendyala Srinivas. Once the CID catches him, more facts would come out in the case, he said.
Sajjala discounted the claims of the TDP leaders that Nijam Gelichindi. He wondered how the truth prevailed if interim bail is given. He ridiculed the TDP leaders celebrating the interim bail. He said that the TDP leaders were trying to create sympathy from the people for the crime committed by Chandrababu Naidu.
Sajjala also said that Naidu was seen healthy and active when he came out of the jail. He said there was no health issue as claimed by the TDP leaders and his family members. “He looks healthy and active. What was these leaders and family members said in the past? Naidu lost five kilos weight?” Sajjala said and asked the TDP leaders and the family members to show the same in Naidu.
He alleged that the TDP leaders and Naidu’s family members were spreading false news. Even the yellow media too is spreading false news, he said. He added that people were now aware of everything with the social media on hand.
