YSRCP Exposes TDP & BJP’s Alleged Involvement In Visakhapatnam Drugs Haul

In a significant development, YSRCP General Secretary, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, has unveiled startling connections between the TDP and BJP with the prime accused in the recent Visakhapatnam drug haul case. This revelation comes on the heels of a major seizure by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), wherein 25,000 kg of yeast mixed with cocaine was intercepted at the Visakhapatnam port.

Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy has alleged that AP BJP chief Purandeswari’s son, Hitesh, and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu both share connections with the consignee company, Sandhya Aqua Exports. According to his claims, the owners of Sandhya Aqua Exports are purportedly related to Purandeswari’s family, with her son and family associates allegedly holding positions within the company. He further suggested that the consignee firm, which was reportedly involved in the drug importation, is associated with a business promoted by Purandeswari’s family members, which has since been divided and operated independently.

In an effort to shed light on the alleged connections, YSRCP has shared photographs purportedly showing TDP leaders with the son of Sandhya Aqua Exports’ director, Kunam Kotaiah Chowdary. These images have prompted questions about the nature of the relationship between TDP leaders and individuals associated with the company.

YSRCP vehemently criticized the TDP and BJP for attempting to politicize the ongoing investigation, accusing them of hindering the process with baseless allegations. He questioned Chandrababu Naidu’s preemptive finger-pointing at the ruling party even before the police commenced an investigation into the matter. Moreover, he accused Naidu and his son, Lokesh, of wrongly implicating the YSRCP to divert attention from the issue and mislead the public.

In response to the unfolding situation, YSRCP has announced its intention to write a letter to the CBI, urging for a thorough investigation into the case to uncover the truth behind the drug smuggling operation. Additionally, the party plans to file a complaint with the Press Council against TDP-aligned media outlets for disseminating false information related to the case.

The YSRCP’s stance underscores its commitment to transparency and accountability, as it seeks to address the complexities surrounding the Visakhapatnam drug haul case and uphold the integrity of the investigative process.
