Vettaiyan is having a superb weekend at the box office. The film was released in theaters worldwide on October 10, 2024, and opened to decent reviews, though a section of audiences felt it could have been a better one. However, the film’s talk got consolidated as the film’s collections are super steady from the second day onwards.
Vettaiyan performed exceptionally on Thursday, October 12. The advantage of Dasara Holiday came good for the film, and it collected more than its first day in almost all areas. Especially the evening and night shows in Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu were fantastic, according to the box office trackers. Vettaiyan has collected 150 crore gross at the worldwide box office for three days, and it is poised to have another great day today. The film sold nearly 18K tickets on the BookMyShow app in the last 24 hours, including all languages.
Directed by TJ Gnanavel, Vettaiyan deals with issues like fake encounters and the aftereffects of them, along with educational scams. Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, Dushara Vijayan, and Fahadh Faasil played the other crucial roles in the film, while Manju Warrior, Ritika Singh, Abhirami, Rao Ramesh, and others appeared in supporting roles. Anirudh Ravichander composed the film’s music.
