Vettaiyan, the latest cop drama from Tamil cinema, is currently running in the theaters. The film stars Superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role and was released in theaters on October 10, 2024. After a few days from the film’s theatrical release, the makers released a deleted scene between Rajinikanth and Fahadh Faasil. The fans are loving the scene, and they are mad at the makers for deleting such a lovely scene.
On October 15th, Vettaiyan’s team released a deleted scene between Rajini and Fahadh from the film on social media. Rajinikanth played the character of SP Athiyan, known as an encounter specialist, while Fahadh Faasil appeared as Patrick, aka Battery, a thief who works as an informer to Athiyan. The deleted scene shows a short yet humorously heartwarming moment between the characters where Athiyan asks Battery to work for another cop for time being, to which the latter responds that he will work for only him. After seeing this scene, the netizens responded super positively, and they were also mad at the producers for deleting such a scene.
Vettaiyan crosses the 200 crore gross mark at the worldwide box office, and the trade experts anticipate a big jump on the upcoming weekend. Directed by TJ Gnanavel, Vettaiyan also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, Dushara Vijayan, Manju Warrier, Abhirami, Rao Ramesh, and others in crucial roles. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the film’s music.
