Earlier, it was announced that the upcoming premiere of a Tamil political drama series called Thalamai Seyalagam will be on ZEE5. The makers of the series have now unveiled the trailer for the show, which is scheduled to be released on May 17th. The trailer commences with a voiceover discussing the significant impact of politics as an addiction. Following this, we are presented with a range of characters from the series engaging in discussions about a particular case, emphasizing how the outcome will shape the destiny of a political party. Throughout the trailer, different characters express their opinions on the party’s corruption, its affiliated groups, and the perspectives of politicians toward their profession, making this series a significant addition to the political drama genre.
National Award-winning director Vasanthabalan, known for his acclaimed films such as Kaaviya Thalaivan, Angadi Theru, and the recently released Aneethi, takes the helm of the upcoming series Thalaimai Seyalagam. Premiering exclusively on ZEE5 on May 17, this highly anticipated series features Kishore in the lead role, who has previously showcased his talent in films like Kantara and Viduthalai. Alongside Kishore, the star-studded cast includes Sriya Reddy, Bharath, Ramya Nambessan, Aditya Menon, Kani Kusruti, Niroop Nandakumar, Darsha Gupta, Sarah Black, Siddharth Vipin, YGM, Santhana Bharathi, Kavitha Bharathi, and many others.
Filmmaker G. Vasanthabalan, known for his unique choice of scripts, has written and directed Thalamai Seyalagam. The production is backed by actors Radikaa Sarathkumar and R Sarathkumar under their production house banner, Radaan Mediaworks India Limited. The technical crew for this upcoming series includes cinematographer Wide Angle Ravishankar, who has music composed by Ghibran. Simon K King has contributed to the additional background score. V Sasikumar serves as the art director, while Don Ashok has handled the stunt sequences. Ravikumar M is the editor for the series. Thalamai Seyalagam is set to release a few weeks after the elections in Tamil Nadu and joins the ranks of political series like Queen, Tandav, and Maharani, which have been released on various OTT platforms.
