Matsyagandha is the latest film from Kannada actor Pruthvi Ambaar. The actor was so busy this year that he had to be involved in the promotions of three films in February. The first one was Juni, followed by Matsyagandha, and another one was For a Regn. Though Matsyagandha was the best among the three films, it did not get the desired result at the box office. The film also had a tough time getting a good deal with OTT partners, but the latest information is that finally Pruthvi Ambaar’s film has locked its digital partner.
Matsyagandha will be soon made available on Cinebazzar OTT, the TVOD (transactional video on demand) platform. The film is set to be released in the middle of October, but there are also reports that it could arrive around September end. The viewers will have to pay Rs. 49 to watch the film on Cinebazzar OTT. The platform has seen a good rise in recent days with its digital theater concept with the transactional video on demand format, and it provides movies and series to audiences in 177+ countries across the world.
Matsyagandha tells the story of a cop who is the probationary station in charge in Tonka. The life of the cop gets disturbed when he busts a drug smuggling racket, but the drugs get stolen from him. Devraj Poojary is the film’s director.
