Shakahaari, a crime drama from Kannada Cinema, was not a big hit in its theatrical run. However, because of the rave reviews it picked up, the audiences eagerly awaited the film’s OTT release. The OTT giant Prime Video started streaming the film a few months back and it received a good response. In July, Shakahaari’s Telugu Version was also made on Prime Video.
However the latest reports suggest that Shakahaari’s Telugu Version is now streaming on another platform, Aha Video. Balu Charan, a renowned producer, bought the Telugu version’s rights under Hanuman Productions banner and sold it to Aha. The interesting thing is, Goparaju Ramana, the noted actor from Telugu film industry has dubbed for Rangayana Raghu’s character which is the lead role of the film. This is the first time that something like this happened where a movie which is already on OTT has been made available in Telugu version, and again it got moved to another OTT Platform.
Directed by Sandeep Sunkad, Shakahaari is made as a murder mystery. Besides Rangayana Raghu, Gopalkrishna Deshpande, Vinay UJ, Nidhi Hegde, and Harini Srikanth in crucial roles. The background score provided by Mayur Ambekallu received great applause.
