Love Me is set for its OTT Premiere

Love Me, a horror thriller featuring Ashish and Vaishnavi Chaitanya in the main roles, suffered from poor promotion due to last-minute post-production delays. The film received negative feedback and failed to leave a mark at the box office. As per a recent update, Love Me is anticipated to be released on the Telugu streaming platform Aha either on the 15th or 22nd of June. However, an official confirmation is still pending.

The innovative idea behind Love Me, a horror thriller, was overshadowed by its poor execution, resulting in a disappointing outcome. The film narrates the tale of a YouTuber who embarks on a mission to confront an evil spirit responsible for the deaths of numerous individuals in an abandoned apartment. The audience felt that not all captivating concepts translate well onto the screen. The notion of a protagonist falling in love with a ghost is an underexplored idea, yet its execution lacks persuasiveness. The intrigue built up in the first half diminishes by the conclusion following a major revelation. Once the final twist is unveiled, everything appears foolish and devoid of logic. The portrayal of a crucial character around whom the story revolves lacks proper character development.

Helmed by Arun Bhimavarapu, the movie is backed by producers Harshith Reddy, Hanshitha, and Naga Mallidi. The film’s music is composed by Oscar-winning MM Keeravani, and the renowned P.C. Sreeram is the cinematographer.
