The highly anticipated upcoming Tamil movie Kottukkaali also recognized as The Adamant Girl is set to make its grand debut at the renowned Berlin International Film Festival. As scheduled, the film successfully had its world premiere on the global platform.
Actor Soori, utilizing his X (previously known as Twitter) handle, took the opportunity to express his thoughts on the premiere of his film. Kottukkaali also features Anna Ben in her Tamil debut and is supported by Sivakarthikeyan’s esteemed production company, Sivakarthikeyan Productions. Actor Soori shared a few photographs with his festival team and wrote, “Kottukkaali on the world stage! It is a great joy that the film was watched and celebrated by the international audience at the Berlin Film Festival. I thank brother Sivakarthikeyan and brother Vinothraj for making a film that integrates our lifestyle and to present it on the world stage.”

Kottukkaali Movie’s Story and Star Cast:
Kottukkaali centers around the preparations for the wedding of Meena and Pandi, two individuals from different Indian families. However, complications arise when it is revealed that Meena is in love with someone from a lower caste. After the wedding ceremonies, the story takes a turn, as Meena’s distant behavior leads her family to suspect she may be possessed. This film serves as Vinothraj’s second directorial venture, following the critical acclaim of his debut feature, Koozhangal, aka Pebbles, which was selected as India’s official entry to the 94th Oscars. Anna Ben makes her Tamil debut with this film, while B Sakthivel handles the cinematography, and Ganesh Siva takes charge of the editing. Banu Priya serves as the executive producer. The production team has yet to announce the exact theatrical release date of the film.
