The producers of the upcoming untitled Tamil film starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead character recently released another character poster. The project, which is being called as SK x ARM and SK23 for now, gets Malayalam actor Biju Menon on board for a crucial part. AR Murugadoss shared Biju Menon’s character poster on various social media platforms.
Biju Menon, who is a recognized actor in South Indian Cinema, has played many police roles, and he appears as a cop in SK23 as well. Sivakarthikeyan’s Amaran is announced as 2023 Diwali release, and the inside reports from Kollywood indicate that he is planning SK23 as a Diwali festival release in 2024. However, this news is yet to be confirmed. The film’s title will be revealed soon. SK23 has Sapta Sagaradaache Yello fame Rukmini Vasanth as the female lead, with Anirudh Ravichander scoring the music for the film. The film is expected to be a grand scale mass entertainer.
Biju Menon’s last Tamil film was Porkkalam in 2010. The Ayyappanum Koshiyum recently stated that he did not find much exciting roles in other languages. Biju said that he mostly appeared as an antagonist in other language movies. So apart from being involved in fights and acting like a villain, he did not much scope to perform which made it to be boring to him. Biju Menon’s latest theatrical release were Nadanna Sambhavam is currently streaming on Manorama Max, and Thalavan, which was a good hit at the box office will be available on Sony LIV soon.
