The talented actress, who plays Rebel Kaira, shared insights about her involvement in the project in a recent interview with Manorama Online.
Anna articulated her main aim to excel in her performance while working within her limitations, which led her to decide against using a stunt double. She highlighted the significance of upholding the authenticity of action sequences, noting, “I was cautious about this. It would be hard to believe if I were to defeat someone twice my size.” The Kappela lead elaborated that while the Telugu audience might be captivated, Malayalis are known for their candidness in sharing their viewpoints. She went on to mention that the stunt masters had expertly choreographed the action sequences according to her body language, significantly impacting the audience.
Anna Ben expressed her deep gratitude for the opportunity to work with renowned celebrities in Kalki 2898 AD. She particularly cherished her experience of working with Shobana Ma’am, despite not having a scene together. She also praised Pasupathy and Deepika Padukone for their down-to-earth nature on set, emphasizing the importance of delivering her best performance, especially given the time constraints faced by other actors.
