Director Sahir Raza’s web series Illegal has garnered immense popularity as one of the top legal dramas in the digital realm. Following the success of its first two seasons, the creators have officially announced the renewal of Illegal for a third season. Fans can anticipate the release of Illegal 3 on JioCinema shortly. The streaming service has already teased viewers with the series’s official trailer on various social media platforms, including YouTube. It has been confirmed that Illegal 3 is scheduled to premiere on the OTT platform by the end of May.

Neha Sharma reprises her role as lawyer Niharika Singh in Illegal 3. This season follows her character’s pursuit of becoming the leading lawyer in Delhi, even at the cost of abandoning her core principles. The show is set to premiere on JioCinema starting May 29, 2024. Neha is set to appear alongside Akshay Oberoi and Piyush Mishra in Illegal 3. Both Akshay and Piyush will return to portray their characters from the previous seasons. In an official statement, Neha expressed her deep affection for Illegal, stating that it will forever hold a special significance in her heart as it marked her debut in the world of OTT shows.

Sharma expressed that her involvement in Illegal allowed her to collaborate with exceptionally talented actors. Additionally, she believes that it granted her a firsthand perspective on the legal system and the lives of lawyers. “I have thoroughly enjoyed accompanying Niharika on her journey, and in this new season, she will delve even deeper into the complex realm of justice and morality, where the distinction between right and wrong becomes increasingly blurred for her,” she stated. Meanwhile, the cast of Illegal 3 features Piyush Mishra as Janardhan Jaitley, with Akshay Oberoi portraying his son. Alongside them, Neil Bhoopalam, Zayn Marie Khan, Asheema Vardaan, Ira Dubey, and Anshuman Malhotra also play integral roles in the series.
