Aha Video, the Telugu OTT Platform, continues to produce projects in quick succession. Their most recent offering, Premalu, has proven to be a huge success on OTT platforms and remains a top trending choice. With over 70 million streaming minutes accumulated so far, the film shows no signs of slowing down. Aha has now unveiled their next venture: a 2020 Tamil movie titled Asuraguru, starring Vikram Prabhu in the lead role.
Aha has recently unveiled a poster disclosing the streaming date of Asuraguru, which is set to be released on May 3, 2024. The film, helmed by A. Raajdheep, was produced by JSB Film Studios under the supervision of Sathish. Kabilan Vairamuthu and Chandru Manickavasagam skillfully crafted the dialogues for this cinematic creation. The film, featuring Vikram Prabhu and Mahima Nambiar in the lead roles and Subbaraju, Yogi Babu, and Nagineedu in supporting roles, was released on March 13, 2020. J.S.B. Sathish produced it under the banner of JSB Film Studios. Interestingly, Aha did not have to spend significantl to acquire the OTT rights for this movie. Their intention was simply to enhance their library with a selection of Tamil and Malayalam films, considering the growing popularity of these genres. Aha already offers a wide range of films from various genres, and adding Asuraguru will undoubtedly be an exciting new attraction for their viewers.
However, Aha has recently gained attention due to the immense success of its latest game show, Sarkaar 4. The show, hosted by Sudigali Sudheer, has sparked conversations and become a popular subject of discussion.
