The yellow party had fixed the price for the party leaders from the village level to the mandal and district level for this election. The leaders are distributing the money as planned. A leader at the village panchayat level would get Rs 50 lakh from the party or the contesting candidate. A leader at the Mandal level would get Rs 1 crore while the Assembly constituency level is paid Rs 3 crore. The district level leader would get Rs 5 crore from the party or the contesting candidate.
These prices are fixed by TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu and had directed the leaders and the contesting candidates to take care of this payment. Money is thus flowing like water in the Assembly constituencies. Chandrababu Naidu had mobilised funds from the NRIs much before the election schedule was announced.
The NRI wing of the TDP is also collecting funds from the NRIs. Its leader Komati Jayaram is ahead of others in collecting funds and transferring it to the state or the TDP office. What is given to the TDP unofficially is several times more than what is given through the banks.
Komati Jayaram is collecting funds from every NRI and is not leaving any of them. He is also hurling abuses at the voters and those who refuse to give funds to the TDP. Some videos of Jayaram are also in circulation in the social media.
The police officials are seizing the money from the vehicles belonging to the TDP candidates and leaders. Rs 2 crore were seized from a vehicle owned by TDP candidate from Kadiri in Prakasam district, Kandikunta Prasad.
A couple of weeks ago, some money was seized from the vehicles owned by the Margadarsi Chit Fund Private Limited, which is owned by Cherukuri Ramoji Rao. Ramoji Rao and his Eenadu media have become the leading campaigners for the TDP across the state. Ramoji Rao is going all out to help the TDP and is campaigning for the party. He is spitting venom on the YSR Congress, which is being well understood by the people.
People are not illiterates or ignorant of what is happening in the state. They are well aware of the things and the social media is available for them for the fact check. The lies of the yellow party and the yellow media are clearly understood.
