Why did Naidu break with BJP and why did he align now?

TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu’s politics are different. His politics have no values. It is just opportunism. He goes with the tide and wants to benefit in every election.

He aligned with the BJP in 2014. When he launched bus yatra in Guntur district before the 2014 general election, he said he would never align with the BJP. However, when election schedule was announced, he aligned with the BJP.

The TDP, BJP and Jana Sena have gone for elections united. Though Jana Sena did not contest the elections, Pawna Kalyan extended support to the BJP and TDP. He said he would stand guarantee for the TDP in Andhra Pradesh.

However, in 2017, he broke with the TDP and parted ways with the BSP and Communists. Even the TDP also broke the alliance with the BJP in 2018 and aligned with the Congress. Chandrababu Naidu hurled abuses at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah during the 2019 general election.

Naidu went severely against Narendra Modi during the electioneering. He had even raised questions on the personal life of Narendra Modi. However, he lost the elections with humiliating defeat.
Even Pawan Kalyan tasted humiliating defeat in the elections. He lost both Bhimavaram and Gajuwaka Assembly seats where he contested.

Now, ahead of the 2024 general election, both TDP and Jana Sena have come together and now the BJP had joined the alliance. One wonders what brought these three parties together now! What promises that these three parties gave to the people in 2014 and why did they break the alliance?

What promises these three parties are giving to the people now when they aligned? What message are they giving to the people on their joining hands now? Where had those corruption and other charges levelled by the parties against each other?

The parties have to answer these questions before they go to the people. If they don’t answer and only ask for votes, people would teach them a lesson or two at the EVMs!
