Raayan is now steaming on OTT

Raayan, Dhanush’s 50th film as an actor and second film as a director, was released in theaters on July 26th. Though the film received mixed reviews, it performed very well at the box office and became the biggest hit for Kollywood this year. After having a wonderful theatrical run, Raayan has now arrived at OTT.

Prime Video, the OTT giant, has bought the digital rights of Raayan and it has started streaming from August 22nd midnight. The film is available in Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam languages along with the original version, Tamil across 240 counties. As said above, Raayan was a blockbuster at the box office and crossed the magical number of 150 Crores Gross at the worldwide box office.

Set in the 1990s Raayan tells the story of three brothers and a sister who leave their hometown after their parents go missing. The big brother, Kathavaraayan takes the responsibility for his siblings. The local crime gangs disturb the love and affection in Raayan’s family. Apart from Dhanush, Raayan also stars Dushara Vijayan, Sandeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, SJ Suryah, Aparna Balamurali, Prakash Raj and others in crucial roles. The Oscar Award winner AR Rahman composed the film’s music.
