Premalu 17 Days Worldwide Collections are out. The Malayalam film, has finished a 17 day run at the box office and has become a massive success. The film is aimed at a younger audience and has received a great response from viewers, earning higher revenue in its second weekend than its first. For 17 days, the film’s net collections in Kerala have exceeded 35 Crores. Overall, the film has amassed a worldwide gross of 65 Crores at the box office for 17 days.
The box office experts’ expectations have come through as the film had another successful week at the box office, as audiences are extremely fond of Premalu. People from other languages have also developed a fondness for the movie. The Malayalam version with subtitles is being re-watched by Telugu audiences because of the backdrop of Hyderabad. The most surprising thing is the film is still running in Hyderabad with good number of shows in Hyderabad.
Premalu, a romantic comedy-drama film, hit the screens on February 9, 2024. Directed by Girish A D and produced by Dileesh Pothan, Fahadh Faasil, and Syam Pushkaran under the Bhavana Studios banner, the movie has been well-received by audiences. Naslen and Mamitha Baiju excelled in the lead roles, with support from Shyam Mohan, Akhila Bhargavan, Sangeeth Prathap, Althaf Salim, and Meenakshi Raveendran. With a neat screenplay co-written by Gireesh and Kiran Josey, the production team includes Ajmal Sabu as the director of photography, Akash Joseph Varghese as the film editor, and Vishnu Vijay as the music composer, whose songs are also one of the significant plus points for the film.
