Massive response to ‘Samajika Sadhikara’ Yatra in Vizianagaram

As the YSRCP continues to steal headlines with its ongoing ‘Samajika Sadhikara’ yatra, the enthusiastic response from the people has provided a significant boost to the ruling party. This trend persisted on the seventh day of the yatra in the Vizianagaram district in UttarAndhra as YSRCP’s top leaders gathered in Srungavarapukota Assembly Constituency carrying the message of social empowerment to the last mile.
Prominent YSRCP leaders including Minister Botcha Satyanarayana, Regional Coordinator YV Subba Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Budi Mutylanaidu, Minister Merugu Nagarjuna, MLA Kadubandi Srinivas Rao, and ZP Chairman Majji Srinivas Rao, actively participated in the yatra which was filled with various engaging activities. The day commenced with a media interaction in Jami Mandal, followed by visits to the Jagananna Housing Colony and the newly constructed Sachivalayam in Alamanda village. The day was marked by excitement and joy as the leaders took part in the ‘Gruha Pravesh’ ceremony for approximately 175 homes in the newly developed Jagananna colony.
Minister Botcha, who hails from Vizianagaram district himself, expressed his joy on being instrumental in uplifting members of BC, SC, ST and Minority communities via numerous welfare schemes implemented by the YSRCP Government. In a tweet, he mentioned, “Nothing is more satisfying than witnessing the joyous smiles of individuals stepping into their own homes for the first time in their lives! CM @ysjagan’s policies and the remarkable on-ground execution by @YSRCParty Government are the reasons behind #BudiSwati’s happiness. Today, we successfully conducted #GruhaPravesh for 175 homes in Jagananna Colony in Skota. Many more to come…”
The leaders then enjoyed a wholesome lunch with local influencers in the area. This was followed by a bus yatra leading to a grand public meeting at Devigudi Junction in Skota Mandal.
Addressing a sea of supporters, Minister Botcha first applauded Chief Minister Jagan’s unwavering commitment to implementing the Navaratnalu (2019 manifesto) welfare schemes despite facing various challenges including a pandemic (Covid-19). Soon thereafter, he tore into the Opposition, primarily TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, who is facing grave corruption charges, and explained the reasons behind his arrest and his involvement in various scams. Calling Chandrababu Naidu a ‘skilled scammer’ who had robbed people over and over again, he said, ‘We saw a joint manifesto of 600 promises from a triangular alliance between TDP, Dattaputrudu (Pawan Kalyan/JanaSena), and BJP in 2014. After winning, they went into exile for years, failing to fulfil any of the promises. Now, they will try and come with another deceiving document. Don’t believe them.’
Castigating Naidu for his blatant corruption, Botcha Satyanarayana highlighted the potential consequences of a change in leadership, he warned that ‘Return of Chandrababu Naidu could lead to a resurgence of corruption, middlemen, and bribery, at the cost of local employment opportunities and hence, people should be wary of giving any chance to TDP.’
He further went on to assert that CM Jagan Mohan Reddy’s leadership is essential for the state’s well-being. He said, ‘To meet our daily needs, to ease our hardships, to get quality education and jobs abroad, to have access to quality healthcare and to live happily – Andhra Pradesh Needs Jagan.’
Deputy Chief Minister Budi Mutyala Naidu too lambasted TDP Chief, emphasizing that Chandrababu Naidu had let down not just farmers, Dwcra women, but also the youth of the state and the general public.
