Jagan to launch bus yatra this month

Chief Minister and the YSR Congress president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy is scheduled to start his bus yatra on March 26 or 27. The yatra would start from Idupulapaya and conclude at Itchapuram in Srikakulam district, the party sources said.

Jagan Mohan Reddy plans to cover all assembly segments in every parliament seat during his bus yatra. He also plans to interact with community-based and profession-based groups during his yatra. He wants to have this interaction in the morning session. The chief minister would hold public meetings in the evenings every day.

The chief minister addressed Siddham public meetings and gave a strong election message to the people. He wanted people to vote for him only if they feel that something good was done to the family by the YSR Congress government. He also cautioned the people that the cash benefit schemes would be withdrawn if the YSR Congress loses the election.

The YSR Congress has covered the entire state through the Samajika Sadhikara yatra, a bus tour of the party BC leaders. The BC leaders of the party have held several public meetings across the state and alerted the people on the need to vote for the YSR Congress in the coming general election.

The Samajika Sadhikara yatra was followed by the public meetings of Jagan Mohan Reddy in the name of Siddham. Now the chief minister plans the bus yatra in the name of Memanthaa Siddham. He is planning to target the groups where he would explain the welfare activities of his government.

The chief minister wants to have this bus yatra for one month which would be followed by a series of public meetings. As there is enough time for the polling day, the chief minister wants to use every day for the election campaign. He wants to be ahead of the rival parties in reaching out to the voters.

The chief minister had recently addressed an open letter to the people requesting them how important is to vote for the YSR Congress in the coming general election. He would also reiterate most of this during his public meetings.
