Vijayawada MP Kesineni Srinivas (Nani) made a hard-hitting remark against TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday. He said that Naidu is not a trustworthy leader. He alleged that Chandrababu Naidu betrays people who trusted him.
“I have seen betrayal politics in Chandrababu Naidu. Honest politics in Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy,” Kesineni said in a chit chat with the media persons. He said that would make hattrick by winning for the third time from Vijayawada Lok Sabha seat.
He also said that he brought Rs 360 crore for storm water project in Vijayawada. But Chandrababu Naidu as chief minister diverted the money to the health department, which could not execute the work. He also said that he had proposed several flyovers to Vijayawada, but Naidu spoiled his plans.
He said development of Vijayawada city and the towns in the Lok Sabha constituency his target. He had been working for the development of the city and the towns like Tiruvur, Jaggaiahpet, Mylavaram and Nandigama, besides historical Kondapalli town.
He said he brought several funds for the development of these areas in the past ten years. He also asserted that he would bring funds from the Central government for the development of these areas in the constituency.
Kesineni said that Devineni Avinash would win from the Vijayawada East Assembly constituency this time. He said that Avinash had been working for the constituency for the past five years. He said that Avinash is the right candidate for the Vijayawada East constituency. He asserted that Avinash had been working for the ideals of late former minister Devineni Rajasekhar Nehru.
He made an appeal to the people of Vijayawada to vote him and the ruling YSR Congress candidates for the coming elections. He also told the people not to buy the lies of the yellow media. Every survey is predicting the victory of the YSR Congress, he said and ridiculed the yellow media surveys.
