In a dynamic move, the YSRCP’s NRI Wing is primed for action in the urban hubs of Andhra Pradesh, as the state braces for the upcoming polls in the next 10 days. Unlike the conventional approach of overseas support from other political parties’ NRI Wings, YSRCP’s representatives are making a bold statement by gathering on the ground, alongside the people of Andhra Pradesh, to champion CM Jagan’s vision and campaign fervently for the party. A group of around 123 supporters from diverse global backgrounds has converged on their native soil to bolster CM Jagan’s bid for a second term. Despite the Opposition’s attempts to peddle a narrative of ‘No Development,’ these individuals have traversed continents to dismantle false propaganda and showcase the tangible impact of CM Jagan’s governance. They will be highlighting his policies and initiatives that have propelled the state’s development, emphasizing the importance of self-reliance and sustainable growth.
Starting tomorrow, May 2nd, the NRI Wing representatives will embark on a 10-day tour across the state, traversing all three regions aboard four buses as part of the ‘Why Needs Jagan’ campaign. This initiative will focus on urban areas such as Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Guntur, Kakinada, Rajahmundry, Nellore, Rajampet, Tirupati, Kamalapuram, and Anantapur. Commenting on the commencement of the bus yatra, YSRCP Global NRI Convener Venkat Medapati stated, “The primary objective of this bus yatra is to educate the public about the transformative impact of CM Jagan’s policies and programmes, driving the state towards progress and development.” He further remarked, “We, the NRIs and intellectuals, have taken the initiative to organize this bus yatra to endorse CM Jagan in the major cities of our state. CM Jagan’s focus on development, welfare, industrial growth, investments, job creation, and establishment of industries in every district has made a significant impact. We are here on the ground to share these success stories with the public. Under CM Jagan’s leadership, the children of our state are assured of a brighter future. Over the past 59 months, CM Jagan has championed social justice by providing equal opportunities to individuals from all walks of life. This is a feat achievable only by CM Jagan.”
During the bus yatra, party representatives will actively participate in campaigns alongside MLA/MP candidates, conduct meetings with people from various sectors, and engage with key stakeholders. Some of the key strategies of the bus yatra include, join the MP/MLA: The NRI yatra will actively participate in ongoing MLA/MP campaigning. This participation will showcase solidarity with the MP/MLA and demonstrate strong support. Town Hall Meetings: Organizing town hall meetings that bring together professionals from various sectors, including youth, doctors, teachers, students, retired government officers, and trade unions, along with frontal district committee members. These meetings will facilitate discussions on the remarkable developmental progress achieved under CM Jagan’s leadership in Andhra Pradesh. It will serve as a platform for exchanging ideas and knowledge, enriching participants’ understanding of the state’s progress under CM Jagan’s governance, and highlighting the shortcomings of CBN’s so-called visionary leadership.
Influencer Engagement: Organize an event with the influencers. This gathering will focus on engaging with key personalities to secure their support and amplify the party’s message.
Hotspot Meetings: Conduct visits and engage with people at various hotspots, including marketplaces and apartment complexes. These interactions aim to establish a more personal connection with citizens with activities including rapid-fire quizzes etc., Visits to Landmark Structures: Visit key infrastructural developments completed under CM Jagan’s governance in the last 5 years, such as modernized Nadu-Nedu schools, hospitals, ports, and industries. These visits will highlight CM Jagan’s visionary leadership and the impactful development initiatives that have significantly enhanced the state’s economic capacity.
Door-to-door Campaign: Conduct door-to-door visits in urban areas to raise awareness about recent developments in Andhra Pradesh. The yatra team will draw comparisons with the state’s condition before 2019, showcasing the remarkable progress achieved under the current government. While in one corner, commoners as star campaigners actively take the message of CM Jagan to every last mile, NRI representatives of the party have jumped into action to spread his vision in urban pockets of Andhra Pradesh, making the party’s campaign strategy even stronger!
