Have you ever heard of these schemes, asks Jagan

Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday asked the people whether they have ever heard of the welfare schemes that the YSR Congress government had implemented in the last five years. Addressing election meeting at Repalle in Palnadu district, Jagan Mohan Reddy said that the YSR Congress government brought revolution in welfare sector. He asked the people whether they would remember any scheme if TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu’s name is referred. He said that there was not a single scheme that reminds people of Chandrababu Naidu. The TDP chief was known for exploitation of the people and betrayal. Chandrababu Naidu had become synonym to betrayal.

He said that Nadu-Nedu had changed the education and health sectors in the state. The government schools have become the source of knowledge, he said. The children were now learning English in the government schools. The government hospitals too have become people-friendly during the YSR Congress rule, Jagan Mohan Reddy said. He further added that the hospitals were able to handle the Covid 19 situation in the state. The hospitals were now providing quality health care to the people. The government had taken over 50,000 medical professionals into the government hospitals, the chief minister said.

Jagan Mohan Reddy said that he had started construction of 17 medical colleges and teaching hospitals in the state. Five medical colleges have started admissions this year, while the rest are to be completed, he said. The government had also addressed the Uddanam kidney issue and had constructed a super speciality hospital in Uddanam area, the chief minister said. The village and ward secretariats were serving the needs of the people at their doorstep, he said. The Rythu Bharosa Kendras, digital libraires, women police and Disha App have provided better life for the people in the villages, he said.

He called upon the people to vote for the YSR Congress candidates in the coming elections. He cautioned them against the false promises of Chandrababu Naidu. He said that the yellow gang was coming to the people promising many things. He said that Chandrababu Naidu had the record of betraying the people after the election. Jagan Mohan Reddy referred to the loan waiver promise of Chandrababu Naidu to the farmers in the 2014 general election. He said that Naidu had promised loan waiver to the farmers, weavers and the women. However, after coming to power, Chandrababu Naidu had removed the manifesto from the party’s official website and waived just Rs 1.50 lakh to the farmers. The weavers and the women were completely ignored, he said. He also added that Naidu had promised jobs for the youth. He promised unemployment stipend for the youth. He neither gave jobs nor stipend, Jagan Mohan Reddy said.
