Empowering weaker sections is Jagan’s target

In an impressive display of people’s strength, the YSRCP’s ‘Samajika Sadhikara’ bus yatra in Palakollu, West Godavari district received overwhelming support as thousands of enthusiastic participants converged with resounding ‘Jai Jagan’ slogans. The event witnessed the presence of YSRCP strongmen including Ministers Pinipe Vishwarup and Chelluboyina Venugopalakrishna, MP Nandigama Suresh, Legislative Council Chairman Moshenraju and a large number of people who rallied behind the cause.

During the bus yatra, the leaders emphasized the pivotal role of Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy in instilling self-respect and empowerment within the BC, SC, ST, and Minority communities. They credited CM Jagan for the historic appointment of five SC ministers in his government and highlighted the stark differences between Chandrababu’s rule from 2014 to 2019 and Jagan’s rule from November 2019 to 2023.

Minister Pinipe Vishwarup took to the stage and highlighted one of the key things that CM Jagan had done soon after coming to power – distribute pensions. He highlighted how senior citizens in the state are now receiving a pension of Rs 2,750, which will increase to Rs 3,000 from January 2024. He then exposed that while Chandrababu provided pensions to 30 lakh people during his tenure, CM Jagan is currently delivering pensions to 64 lakh individuals.

Further, Chandrababu Naidu’s reduction of fee reimbursement to 30% was criticized as a betrayal of the people, while at the same time he lauded Jagananna for ensuring the repayment of DWCRA Women’s loans in four installments. The appointment of five SC ministers under CM Jagan’s administration was contrasted with Chandrababu’s failure to appoint any ST ministers in five years.

Next in line was MP Nandigama Suresh who spoke about the pivotal role that CM Jagan has played in providing access to English education, improving farmers’ conditions, enhancing the quality of schools, and enabling the aspirations of the underprivileged.

He also reminded the people about Chandrababu’s derogatory remarks about BCs and SCs and asked the massive crowd gathered at the rally if they would vote for a leader who made such statements?

He also critiqued the alliance between Pawan Kalyan and Chandrababu Naidu and even highlighted TDP Chief’s alleged misappropriation of funds and assets, alleging the transfer of wealth to foreign accounts and his capitalist friends.

In conclusion, the leaders expressed their unwavering support for CM Jagan’s leadership and the remarkable track record of fulfilling 99% of his manifesto promises under the Navratnalu program.
