The Andhra Pradesh state government had allocated space for offices in Visakhapatnam. The state government had identified more than 3 lakh square feet space in the government buildings and another 4 lakh square feet of space in the private buildings. The state government allocated over 3 lakh square feet of space for 35 departments and heads of the departments.
The chief minister wants to stay in Visakhapatnam to hold review meetings with the officials on the development of the north Andhra region. The chief minister says that he will be staying in the port city to review various development works in undivided Srikakulam, Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam districts.
