Agriculture sector had a negative growth rate during Naidu’s regime, says Dharmana

In a resounding endorsement for YSRCP government’s policies that ensure social and political empowerment of the backward classes, the party cadre and supporters thronged the streets of Chodavaram in Anakapalli district (North) and Rajampeta in Annamaya district (South) today.

Addressing a huge gathering at Vaddadi junction in the Chodavaram town, Revenue Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao said, “During Chandrababu’s tenure, the agriculture sector experienced negative growth, while under Jagan, it has seen a significant improvement of +5.56 percent. During TDP tenure, AP was ranked 16th as far as agriculture is concerned, but under the YSRCP government, it has risen to the 4th rank nationally.”

“Jagan’s initiatives, such as establishing Rythu Bharosa Kendras, ensuring minimum support prices, and providing seed availability, have played a pivotal role in advancing the agricultural sector,” the minister added.

Later, Minister Karumuri Nageswara Rao said, “The significant reforms introduced in the education sector under Jagan’s leadership, elevated the state to the 3rd position nationwide, registering a substantial improvement from the 15th position during Chandrababu’s tenure. Furthermore, these educational reforms drew the attention from all corners of India towards Andhra Pradesh and now other states want to emulate our policies.”

MLA Karanam DharmaSri said, “Roads and bridges at an outlay of Rs 32 crore have been constructed in crucial areas of the constituency. Additionally, a substantial amount of Rs 89 crore has been dedicated to advancing development works in government schools under Mana Badi Nadu-Nedu scheme. Notably, Rs 1,900 crore has been spent for various developmental activities to transform the Chodavaram constituency under Jagan’s leadership in the last four-and-a-half years.”

Addressing a sea of supporters, Rajampeta MLA Meda Mallikarjuna Reddy said, “Around 94,000 families belonging to BC, SC, ST and Minority communities received substantial welfare benefits totalling thousands of crores which helped in the financial upliftment of these marginalised communities in the last four-and-a-half years in the constituency.”

Lauding Jagan for according highest priority to the backward communities in the last four-and-a-half years, Minister Merugu Nagarjuna said, “Jagan aims to construct 31 lakh houses, with a primary focus on BC, SC, ST and minority communities. Additionally, the chief minister has alleviated the burden of education expenses of children belonging to weaker sections. Furthermore, the YSRCP government has enhanced Arogyasree to offer crucial health support for the well-being of the underprivileged in the state. This is why Andhra Pradesh needs Jagan. We need Jagan because he is the only one who can ensure a secure future for our children.”
