Turbo Trailer promises a massive action entertainer

The much-awaited trailer of Turbo, which brings together Mammootty and director Vysakh, is scheduled to release in theaters on May 23, 2024. Before the worldwide release of this ambitious film, the renowned actor and filmmaker unveiled the eagerly awaited Turbo trailer last night (May 12, 2024). The trailer, filled with promise, assures the Malayalam audience of a delightful blend of action and comedy. It was officially launched at a lavish event held in Dubai.

The trailer for Turbo, which lasts 2.13 minutes, assures that Mammootty is returning to the mass hero role after a significant hiatus. Directed by Vysakh, this film showcases the megastar’s brilliance in the character of Jose, also known as ‘Turbo’ Jose in the official trailer. This action entertainer guarantees a delightful cinematic experience. Based on the trailer, it can be inferred that Jose, portrayed by the veteran actor, is a humble individual who finds himself on the wrong side of Vetrivel’s favor due to a chain of unforeseen circumstances. Raj B Shetty, the renowned Kannada actor-filmmaker, has been cast as the main antagonist, Vetrivel, in the upcoming movie. The Turbo trailer reveals that the film is not solely focused on Mammootty but rather showcases various supporting characters, such as the mother figure portrayed by Bindu Panicker and Anjana Jayaprakash, who appear to have intriguing roles. It has been confirmed that Turbo will be a delightful experience for both the devoted fans of the superstar and the Malayalam viewers who appreciated his portrayal of ‘Achayan’ (traditional Malayali Christian) characters.

Mammootty is joined by a talented ensemble cast in Turbo, which includes Raj B Shetty, Bindu Panicker, Anjana Jayaprakash, Dileesh Pothan, Sunil, Shabareesh Varma, Kabeer Singh Duhan, Niranjana Anoop, and others in pivotal roles. The film’s music composer, Justin Varghese, has replaced Christo Xavier, the Bramayugam director. Director-writer Midhun Manuel Thomas has penned the script for Turbo. Vishnu Sarma and Shameer Muhammed are responsible for the cinematography and editing, respectively. Mammootty himself is producing the project under his banner, Mammootty Kampany.
