Them Season 2 OTT release details

Them: The Scare is the follow-up season of the dark horror anthology series Them, which debuted in 2021 with a total of 10 episodes. Following a three-year hiatus, the show is set to return for a second season, spearheaded by creator Little Marvin and a team of executive producers including David Matthews, Roy Lee, Miri Yoon, Don Kurt, Nelson Cragg, Larysa Kondracki, Michael Connolly, Lena Waithe, and Marvin himself. Them Season 2 is scheduled to premiere on OTT platforms this summer.

Them: The Scare will be accessible for streaming on Prime Video, its designated platform, commencing from April 25. Despite the absence of any released trailers for the show, a few initial glimpses of the upcoming season have been unveiled. Them Season 2 takes place in the renowned 1990s era, portraying the vibrant film, fashion, and music scene in Los Angeles. The show centers around LAPD homicide detective Dawn Reeve in 1991 as she takes on a fresh investigation. However, the brutal killing of a foster home mother can shake even the most experienced detectives to their core. As Dawn maneuvers through the chaotic and vibrant atmosphere of Los Angeles, a city on the brink of chaos, a dark and menacing presence starts targeting both her and her loved ones.

Can Dawn successfully locate the murderer before it’s too late, or will she become the target of the subsequent gruesome killings? The upcoming season is anticipated to maintain the trend of intertwining psychological terrors linked to prejudice and racism with supernatural predators, shedding light on the historically accurate hate crimes committed by humans. Deborah Ayorinde will reprise her role in the new season, portraying an entirely different character.
