The Supreme Court on Friday posted the two petitions of TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu to November 8 and 9 respectively. The bench, which is hearing Naidu’s cases, had posted the quash petition of the skill development case to November 8 and the anticipatory bail petition in the fiber net case to November 9.
Senior advocates are arguing for the two cases both on Chandrababu Naidu side and the government side. The court said that it would hear the arguments on the fiber net case on November 9. The bench also said that it would give its judgement on the skill development scam quash petition on November 8.
Meanwhile, the ACB court in Vijayawada dismissed the petition filed by Naidu’s advocates seeking increase of the law mulaqats of Chandrababu Naidu in Rajamahendravaram central jail. The jail officials have reduced the law mulaquat from two a day to one due to security reasons.
The jail officials said that there are 2000 inmates in the jail and the two law mulaqats of Chandrababu Naidu were causing inconvenience to the other inmates and their movement in the jail.
The court said that the advocates while filing the petition have not named the respondents and hence the judge dismissed the petitions.
