RTI, the latest courtroom drama, will soon arrive on OTT. ETV Win, the Telugu digital platform, is acquiring as many as films’ rights and filling its library with excting and unique content. The platform has made quite a good name with #90s, Veeranjaneyulu Vihara Yatra, and it is trying to take the image to the next level. ETV Win recently announced RT will skip its theatrical release and will premiere it on September 26, 2024. The platform also shared an intriguing poster from the film.
RTI stars Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Ravi Shankar in lead roles. Another interesting thing is that both actors will appear as lawyers in the film, which has been made as a courtroom drama. The details regarding the film’s director, cast, and technical crew are not out, and it is being reported that a trailer from the film will be released soon. It has become the norm for a few small films to skip the theatrical release and end up directly on OTT because of the change in the theatrical market after COVID-19.
Varalaxmi Sarathkumar enthralled Telugu audiences in Krack as Jayamma, and she went on to play crucial roles in films like Naandhi and Veera Sihha Reddy. Now she will be pitted against the legendary dubbing artist Ravi Shankar, who is also an actor. Though Ravi Shankar did not get his due as an actor despite being in the film industry for decades, he has begun to get some good roles in recent years. Interestingly, both Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Ravi Shankar were seen in Krack, but they do not share screens in the film. Ravi Shankar was recently seen in Bhagavanth Kesari, Guntur Kaaram, and Ooru Peru Bhairavakona.
