Nara Rohith, known for his role in the 2014 political drama “Prathinidhi,” is set to make a comeback with the sequel, “Prathinidhi 2.” This sequel has been in the works for the past four months and marks Rohith’s return to the screen after a five-year gap since his last movie, “Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu.”
The filming for “Prathinidhi 2” began in August, and it’s now nearing completion. An exclusive update reveals that only three days of dialogue scenes and a couple of songs remain to be shot. A recent action sequence for the movie’s climax was filmed at a fruit market in Hyderabad, adding intensity to the storyline.
Directed by journalist and news presenter Murthy Devagupthapu, “Prathinidhi 2” also stars popular Bengali actor Jisshu Sengupta in a crucial role. The film is produced by Kumarraza Bathula, Anjaneyulu Sri Thota, and Kondakalla Rejender Reddy. The makers are planning to release the movie during the Republic Day weekend in January next year.
