Minister for Education, Botsa Satyanarayana, said that chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy would take oath for the second time in Visakhapatnam on June 9. He said that the YSR Congress is all set to win the elections for the second term.
Botsa appealed to the people of Visakhapatnam and North Andhra region to get ready to welcome the chief minister to take oath. The chief minister would also start working from Visakhapatnam, which would be the capital of the state, he asserted.
The Minister said that women have come to the polling booths in large numbers only to give their support to Jagan Mohan Reddy government. The women have received benefits for the last five years, including the Covid 19 period, he said.
The women across the state want Jagan Mohan Reddy to be the chief minister for one more term. They have all resolved to support Jagan Mohan Reddy, he said. The party would win close to 175 seats, he asserted. He was able to see the crowd at the polling booths like the late NTR and YSR. There is a positive feeling towards the government among the voters, he said.
He alleged that the TDP leaders were resorting to violence across the state due to fear of losing the election. The TDP is going to see the humiliating defeat for the second time in the hands of Jagan Mohan Reddy, he said.
He said that the YSR Congress leaders were restraining from the provocative statements of the TDP leaders across the state. Otherwise, the state would have seen violence with people chasing the rivals, he said. He appealed to the rank and file of the YSR Congress not to get provoked by the TDP leaders.
