Jagan plans to hit roads from January 25

Chief Minister and YSR Congress president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy plans to hit the roads from January 25. He starts holding meetings with the party activists from Bheemili in Visakhapatnam on that day.

He had made up his mind to meet the party workers and gear them up for the impending general elections to the state Assembly. He plans to win all 175 Assembly seats and had given a slogan of Why Not 175.

He is planning to hold meetings with the party workers and the senior leaders at the regional level. He would be forming a region with five to six districts and call for a meeting. Later, he is planning to visit every Assembly constituency and hold meetings with the party workers.

He has so far completed filling of candidates for the 59 Assembly and nine Parliament seats and is working on filling the rest of them. He is also holding one-to-one meetings with the sitting MLAs and MPs to convince them of his choice of candidates for the coming election.

Jagan Mohan Reddy is leaving no stone unturned to win the next round of general election. He is going all out to retain power in the state. He had followed the social justice slogan in giving tickets to the BCs and others in the three lists that he had released so far.

The chief minister had intensified the attack on the opposition parties from his latest public meeting held in the Godavari district. He came down heavily on them and is trying to win the hearts of the people to get their votes in the coming election.

It is to be seen how far he would be successful in his plans to retain power in the state and reduce the opposition parties to a nominal number. He had set his eyes on the constituencies where opposition leader N Chandrababu Naidu, his son Lokesh and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan are contesting. He plans to ensure their defeat in the election.
