Four more cases haunting Chandrababu Naidu

TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu got the regular bail in the skill development case from the AP high court. The court said that Naidu’s regular bail would come into force from November 29 as his interim bail ends on November 28.

People say that Naidu can be free to move around from November 29 and even can address political meetings and hold rallies. The TDP leaders are in fact, planning a massive meeting with Chandrababu Naidu in the second week of December either in Rayalaseema or coastal Andhra. There are also plans to have the meeting in North Andhra or three meetings in all the three regions.

Whatever the TDP leaders are planning, the state CID is contemplating on approaching the Supreme Court against the bail given to Chandrababu Naidu. The CID contests that bail was not the right thing to happen to Chandrababu Naidu in the skill development case. The CID might file a petition in the Supreme Court in the coming days.

However, there are four more cases filed against Chandrababu Naidu by the APCID. The fibernet case, Amaravati inner ring road alignment case, free sand case and the assigned lands case in Amaravati. The AP CID had already filed petitions in the ACB court in Vijayawada on all these cases.

Sources say that the ACB could arrest Chandrababu Naidu in any of these cases if the Supreme Court also grants bail to Naidu. The CID is gearing up to proceed further on any of these cases and ensure that Chandrababu Naidu is sent back to the Rajamahendravaram central jail.

The CID is currently busy holding consultations with the senor advocates on proceeding further in case the supreme court ratifies the high court’s decision of granting bail to Chandrababu Naidu. It is to be seen what move the CID would make in the days to come.
