Fighter has a good second weekend at the box office

Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter has an excellent second weekend at the box office. It is widely known that the latest aerial action drama directed by Siddharth Anand was released in theaters worldwide on 25th January. Though the film received a good response from the audiences and critics, it crashed after the weekend. However, the good news is that Fighter has started gaining momentum at the box office again, aiming to enter the 300Cr Club.

Usually, after a big crash, no film can recover again, but Fighter surprisingly saw a rise in the numbers from the second Friday onwards. The film collected over 28 crore in India on its second weekend. Fighter’s India Net for 11 days will be around 168 Crores and the Gross will be 198 Crores. The worldwide gross of the film will be approximately 280 Crores. The trade circles and fans hope that the film will continue to have a decent run at the box office.

Fighter Movie’s Plot:

The film’s central character, Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania, also referred to as Patty, was played by Hrithik Roshan. Deepika Padukone portrays the character of Squadron Leader Minal Rathore, known as Minni, while Anil Kapoor takes on the role of Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh, commonly known as Rocky.

The narrative of the film revolves around the Balakot airstrike, which was carried out by the Indian Armed Forces near the town of Balakot in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. This retaliatory airstrike specifically targeted the alleged largest training camp of the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). The airstrike was conducted in response to a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir, which resulted in the tragic loss of approximately 40 CRPF soldiers.
