TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu is scheduled to undergo cataract surgery today in L V Prasad Eye Institute in Hyderabad. He will be visiting the hospital today to undergo the surgery.
He had visited the hospital a couple of days ago and took the appointment for the surgery. Earlier, he was admitted into the AIG hospital for regular health chek-up. He was there for 36 hours as inpatient.
He took the interim bail on health grounds and was released from Rajamahendravaram Central Jail on October 31. He reached Vijayawada on the same day and left for Hyderabad the next day. He took the health reports from the AIG hospital as well.
He was asked the produce the health reports to the superintendent of the jail when he reaches there on or before November 28, the date set by the AP high court. Chandrababu Naidu was asked to surrender to the jail superintendent after the health check-ups and treatments were completed.
Meanwhile, the AP high court is scheduled to hear two cases of Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday. The first case is about the bail petition of Chandrababu Naidu. He filed the bail petition in the high court as the ACB court in Vijayawada refused to give bail.
The second case is about the Amaravati inner ring road alignment case. It was alleged that Chandrababu Naidu conspired with the industrialist Lingamaneni Ramesh and gave exemption to his lands from the inner ring road. The inner ring road was designed to benefit Ramesh as the road passes just adjacent to his lands near Mangalagiri.
Former TDP Minister P Narayana and TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh are also accused in the case. Cases were filed against them by the CID in the ACB court. However, Naidu and others have filed petitions in the high court, which would start hearing on Tuesday.
