In a bid to generate public sympathy, TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu’s wife Nara Bhuavaneswari is likely to tour the state explaining how the present government had arrested her husband. She is planning to take up a tour programme across the state on the banner of “Nijam Gelavali” (Truth Should Win).
The TDP extended general body meeting is planned for October 21 at Rajamahendravaram. Party senior leaders will attend the meeting that will be chaired by party general secretary Nara Lokesh. The meeting is likely to decide on the schedule of Bhuvaneswari’s tour in the state.
The party had already assigned the task of scripting her speeches to an agency. The agency is now working on the speeches that Bhuvaneswari would deliver in her meetings across the state. The party leaders are working on the strategy that should be followed to motivate people against the arrest of Chandrababu Naidu.
The party also wants to take advantage of Naidu’s arrest to generate public sympathy that would fetch more votes in the coming election. The party leaders are already holding protests in the state under the campaign of “Me With Babu” programme.
The TDP leaders have planned that Bhuvaneswari’s public meetings in the state would move the women voters. The party is now targeting the women voters ahead of the general election and believe that as a wife Bhuvaneswari would be able to generate huge gatherings of women voters in the state.
Meanwhile, the party is also planning to resume Bhavishyattuku Bharosa programme of Chandrababu Naidu with Lokesh. The TDP general secretary had called off his Yuva Galam padayatra and would now resume his father’s programme.
It was during the Bhavishyattuku Bharosa programme that Chandrababu Naidu was arrested at Nandyal by the AP CID officials. Lokesh is now planning to continue the programme with Rajamahendravaram as the camp office.
Chandrababu Naidu, during his meeting with the family members, the other day in the jail had told them to continue the programme and had also instructed them on how to mobilise public support for his arrest.
