As per the trade circles, the film garnered an impressive Rs 5.5 crore on the ninth day (second Saturday). The political action thriller Article 370 earned around Rs 6 crore on Sunday, surpassing the Rs 50 crore mark at the box office on its tenth day/second Sunday. The film collected Rs 53 crore Net in India and RS 63 Crore Gross. Article 370 has collected over Rs 70 Crore Gross at the worldwide box office.
“Yami emphasized the importance of accurately portraying a female NIA officer, as it meant representing all the dedicated female officers working in the field to safeguard India. She was firm in her belief that she must not make any errors,” said her husband Aditya Dhar, the producer of Article 370 and the director of the renowned patriotic blockbuster Uri: The Surgical Strike.
