After an underwhelming start with Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter, Bollywood is back in the form as back-to-back successful films have come. Regarding securing a clean Hit verdict at the Indian box office, Yami Gautam-led Article 370 is placed on the list alongside Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan’s Shaitaan. Yes, the feat has been unleashed, and the task took over a month. The film has completed its theatrical run.

Aditya Suhas Jambhale helmed the political thriller, which hit theaters on February 23rd. Despite the high anticipation surrounding the film due to its captivating subject, it has exceeded expectations in terms of performance. While a collection of 50 crores would have been deemed satisfactory, the film has surpassed this milestone by reaching a remarkable 75 crores. After a successful run of 35 days or five weeks in cinemas, Article 370 has garnered a noteworthy total of 81 crores net and 96 Crores gross at the Indian box office. This is indeed a substantial amount, and with a little more effort, the film could have even reached the milestone of earning 100 crores net. Unfortunately, the film could not reach the magical milestone. Nevertheless, the current collection is undeniably impressive.

Article 370’s beauty lies in its managed budget. For those unaware, this political drama was produced with a budget of 40 crores. However, it managed to collect 81 crores, resulting in a return on investment of 41 crores. Further calculations reveal that this ROI of 41 crores translates to a return of over 100%.
