Article 370 is now streaming on OTT

Yami Gautam and Priyamani’s film, Article 370, emerged as a sleeper hit, surprising everyone. This Bollywood production managed to earn a remarkable 110 crores globally, establishing it as a significant success for Yami Gautam. However, the film also faced its fair share of controversy due to its portrayal of the removal of Article 370. Specific individuals accused the movie of distorting facts and claimed it to be a propaganda film. Article 370 can be streamed on the renowned OTT platform Netflix.

Numerous Southern region viewers eagerly anticipate the film’s release on OTT platforms. However, they may be let down to learn that initially, the film will only be available in Hindi, with the dubbed versions coming later. Directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale, the film delves into the political landscape and the repercussions of the revocation of Article 370 on the Kashmiri populace.

Movies such as these have garnered both praise and backlash from the Hindi viewers. The Kashmir Files and Kerala Story also faced a similar reaction. While some were in favor, others were opposed. It is worth noting that not all films with a specific agenda are successful. A recent example of this is the film Razakar, which flopped at the box office and received unfavorable feedback from audiences.
