Animal Review: “A Sedated Animal turns wild when exposed. Must Watch”

The first half of the film impeccably captures the right intentions, presenting a beautiful father-son bonding with intense emotions behind Ranbir Kapoor, who plays the role of a son willing to do anything to protect his family. Despite his wild nature, there’s a clear reason for his actions, showcasing that his family is of utmost importance. The intriguing storyline also involves a beautiful love story in director Vanga’s style, leading to a marriage when Ranbir meets Rashmika.

However, the latter half of the film takes a slight diversion when Ranbir becomes more wild. It seems like director Sundeep Reddy Vanga responded to controversies surrounding his previous film in Tollywood, taking the opportunity to expose more in the Bollywood style. The only flaw lies in not handling the female characterizations properly, which could slightly distract the audience. Despite this, the film remains fantastic, especially in the last 50 minutes, with every scene delivering goosebumps moments.

Favorite picks from the second half include:

1. Bobby Deol’s introduction

2. Ranbir-Bobby Deol face-off scenes: This fight sequence elevates the film to the next level, portraying intense emotions with an impactful background score, reminiscent of the famous Prabhas-Rana faceoff in Baahubali.

3. Rashmika confronting Ranbir Kapoor

4. Ranbir openly revealing his emotions to his father, Anil Kapoor, in the film.

5. Post-credit scene: The unexpected twist at the end provides goosebumps, hinting at a sequel, “The Animal Park.”

Overall Verdict: It’s a must-watch film for its impeccable storytelling. While the storyline and predictions are straightforward, the director’s unique narrative style sets it apart from other films with a similar plot. The wild characterizations play pivotal roles in shaping the film “Animal.”
