Chief Election Commissioner, Rajiv Kumar and other officials held the meeting for the second day in the state.

Vijayasai Reddy raised a complaint over the presence of Jana Sena at the meeting as Jana Sena is not a recognised party. They protested the presence of Pawan Kalyan at the meeting. Later, the YSRCP MPs said that one Koneru Suresh had lodged a complaint to the EC on bogus votes and wondered how an individual would know about the bogus votes. The MPs recalled that Suresh alleged that 67,370 bogus votes were registered in Kurnool district alone. However, the ECI found that 59,000 votes were genuine, they said. They wanted action against Suresh for the false complaint and causing damage to the YSRCP’s image.

The MPs also alleged that the TDP was profiling the voters through a website and observed that such a profiling was against the rules. They wanted action against the TDP also for the profiling of the voters in violation of the rules.

The MPs told the EC that the TDP had opened a portal where the total data of the voters is being collected and stored. The voters were getting OTP, which is also collected by the TDP leaders. The data is stored in the server available in London, the MPs told the EC.

They also told the EC that some voters who have voted in Telangana were now applying in Andhra Pradesh for fresh votes. Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan’s brother Nagababu had voted in Telangana but had applied in Andhra Pradesh, they said.

The MPs told the EC that TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh was threatening the officials in the name of red book. They said that Lokesh is holding a red book where the names of the officials are written and the TDP would target those officials. They wanted action against Lokesh for the red book.

Later, the EC officials held a meeting with the district Collectors and the SPs on the preparedness for the general elections. They told the officials to be cautious about the voter list and violence in polling.
